Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s hardline minister of national security, was hospitalized on Friday (26.04.2024) after suffering minor injuries in a car collision, according to police, who said they were still looking into the incident.
The automobile Ben-Gvir was riding in had flipped over, according to footage that was broadcast on Israeli television.
Two more persons were hurt in the event, according to police commissioner Kobi Shabtai, who spoke with media.
In the nearby city of Ramle, Ben-Gvir was on his way out of the area when police reported that there had been a possible stabbing incident moments earlier.
A mentally ill 21-year-old man stabbed a 19-year-old woman, according to Central District Police Chief Avi Biton.
Without providing more details, he claimed that a bystander had shot and “neutralized” the suspect as he was trying to escape the scene.
The woman was transported to a hospital for treatment, according to Israel’s ambulance service, and she was aware despite her terrible condition.
